Transitions among major vegetation types following the 1995 Vision Fire. The size of each ellipse is proportional to the extent of that community within the study area. Solid arrows indicate transitions between vegetation communities, and dashed gray arrows indicate areas where the vegetation type remained the same following fire. Arrows are labeled with the number of hectares that either transitioned or stayed the same. A minimum 100 ha threshold was used for inclusion in the diagram.
