Table 6 Number of Ceanothus, Arctostaphylos, and Prunus seed 0.01 m3 (1 m × 1 m × 0.01 m depth) by collection layera from top of the duff to 10 cm in mineral soil at 24 sites in northern California, arranged from north to south, including two (Sleighvillel and Pilliken) that had experienced wildfire within the previous 15 years. At the McCloud and Jennie Springs sites, data are from samples collected in the unburned treatment only.
