Mix of community phases resulting from varying the probability of (a) freezekill, (b) snow mold, and (c) vole outbreaks in the Cool-Moist Sagebrush Group. Varying the probability of vole outbreaks had only a minor effect on the mix of community phases. As the probability of both freezekill and snow mold increased, abundance of the Late Seral Closed community phase decreased and abundance of the Late Seral and Mid Seral Open phases increased.
