National Forests (NF) north to south include Plumas NF, Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, Tahoe NF, Eldorado NF, Stanislaus NF, and Sierra NF. Areas of extensive chaparral in the VTM that do not appear in CALVEG are primarily restricted to Leiberg’s (1902) study area. Displayed data are in the original minimum mapping units (MMUs; i.e., not resampled).
