Distribution of within-sample period live fuel moister (LFM) range. Ashe juniper foliar samples were taken at each of the four study sites typically within two days of each other. Each 48-hour sampling window constituted a single sample period. The within-sample period range is the difference between the highest and lowest site-level LFM calculated in each sample period. The majority of sample periods (75%) had an LFM range of 19 or less. However, 10 % of sample periods had an LFM range of 30 or greater.
