Where green plots were unburned (category C in Fig. 4; Table 1), plots with ground fire are yellow (B) and plots with crown fire are red (A). The highest values of the BAIS2 index (black) represent the greatest intensity of fire damage and the lowest values (yellow) represent the area without fire damage
