Mean number of invading seed species in the low and high severity burn patches at the Tyee Fire patches (9 yr post-fire). Invading seeds were defined as any seed species that was not found in the extent patch vegetation. Test was a one-tailed paired t-test of mean number of seed species represented in the seed rain but not in the vegetation. Error bars are +1 SE. (t = 2.25; p = 0.029; power at α = 0.05 is 0.65)
