Belowground and aboveground biomass across plant groups (oaks, palmettos, and other species) in a Florida scrubby flatwoods ecosystem. The means are calculated from 20 plots sampled in this study. The bars represent mean biomass (g m−2), while the error bars are 95 % CI. Comparisons of aboveground and belowground biomass between plant categories were made using pairwise Bonferroni tests.
