Correction to: A review of fire effects across South American ecosystems: the role of climate and time since fire

Following publication of the original article (Giorgis et al. 2021), the authors identified an error in the legend of Fig. 1A: Semi-arid should be yellow and orange should be dry. The correct figure is given below. The correct figure has been included in this Correction and the original article has been corrected.
